Artificial intelligence support from TÜBİTAK to companies in Antalya Teknokent (Hurriyet.com.tr - 05.01.2024)

Two companies operating within AKDENIZ University Antalya Technopolis were among the 17 companies that were entitled to support within the scope of the 1711 Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call. TUBITAK Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate (TEYDEB) Innovation Support Program 1711 - Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call - 2023 announced the project owners who are entitled to be supported within the scope of the call. With the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call 2023 Contract Signing Ceremony was held at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus Marmara Teknokent (MARTEK). TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, Akdeniz University Rector Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan, Antalya Teknokent General Manager Dr. İbrahim Yavuz and the participants whose projects were entitled to be supported also took part in the ceremony.TWO COMPANIES FROM ANTALYA TEKNOKENT Within the scope of the call, ERS Yazılım İnternet Turizm Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Şirketi's project titled Artificial Intelligence Supported Sustainable Transportation Ecosystem for the Tourism Sector and Talya Bilişim Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi's project titled Artificial Intelligence Based Carbon Footprint Source Tracking, Anomaly Detection and Precaution Suggestion Platform (TURCAMAP) for the Hotel Accommodation Ecosystem, both of which are companies of Antalya Teknokent, where Akdeniz University is a partner organization, were entitled to be supported. At the TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call 2023 Contract Signing Ceremony, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and Akdeniz University Rector Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan signed the project contracts of Akdeniz University Antalya Teknokent companies. STUDIES IN THE FIELD OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE Stating that there are many companies that have carried out successful studies under the roof of Antalya Technopolis, Rector Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan said, "As Akdeniz University, we are happy to see the fruits of our research, development and technology-centered studies. The fact that Talya Informatics and ERS Software companies within our Antalya Technopolis in the tourism and hotel accommodation sectors were entitled to support among the big technology giants increased our pride.
