Talya Bilişim’s product, Elektra Hotel Management System, is used in over 2,000 hotels and controls 400,000 beds. Thirty-three percent of tourists visiting Turkey have their entire journey, from reservation to return home, tracked through the Elektra program. As Elektra became the preferred system for many hotels in Turkey, it was also made a compulsory course by the Ministry of National Education in tourism vocational high schools.
400,000 BEDS, 8.5 MILLION TOURISTS
Talya Bilişim General Coordinator Nilüfer Durukal explained that all foreign guests who choose hotels using Elektra have their reservation and post-stay processes, including ongoing customer relations, managed through the software. She stated that they manage 400,000 beds across approximately 2,000 hotels in Turkey. Of the roughly 25 million tourists visiting Turkey, 8.5 million are included in the Elektra system, while in Antalya, 4 million out of 10 million tourists use the Elektra Hotel Automation system.
TECHNOLOGY EXPORT TO 6 COUNTRIES
Durukal mentioned working with major hotel groups such as Hillside (Alarko), Odeon, Fame, Peninsula Group, Ramada, Adam&Eve, Ela Quality, and Nuh’un Gemisi. They also provide services for these groups' international connections. Talya Bilişim exports software to 5-6 countries, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Germany, Egypt, and Cyprus. In Turkey, Elektra has 41 dealers and 5 offices.
Beyond the private sector, Elektra is used by institutions such as TÜPRAŞ, TEDAŞ, TCDD, the Turkish Armed Forces, the Central Bank, and police guesthouses, camps, and lodgings. One key reason for Elektra’s preference is its comprehensive ability to meet all hotel needs.
Recently, in cooperation with San Firması, they integrated the Sejour Agency Program with Elektra, adding a new service feature. This integration allows reservations made through agencies to be automatically written into the Elektra front office program simultaneously. Durukal expressed happiness in launching this development to facilitate hotel operations.
