The latest version of Elektra, V4, developed by Talya Bilişim and launched in February, was installed at Silence Istanbul. Significant developments were made in the V4 version of Elektra. Nilüfer Durukal, General Coordinator of Talya Bilişim, provided information to Resort about the products and the Silence Istanbul project.
Talya Bilişim has been offering solutions to the tourism sector under the Elektra brand for over 20 years. The Elektra Hotel Management System consists of 22 different modules, covering all processes within the hotel starting from guest check-in at the front desk. Our aim is to meet all software needs of our hotels, so we continuously develop the number and content of our modules.
In addition to our standardized modules such as Front Desk, Accounting, Stock, and Cost Management, we also meet our hotels’ needs with applications like i-Safe, which complies with the requirements of Law No. 5651; Timeshare Management, especially preferred in thermal facilities; and Mobile Management, which allows facility management via smartphones, enabling our hotels to both meet their needs and offer the latest technological developments to their guests.
As with our other users, the system at Silence Istanbul was designed to provide the infrastructure for the facility to deliver fast and flawless service. Our goal is to help the hotel maximize guest satisfaction while minimizing expenses. For this, Elektra optimizes the operational process and provides data for management to quickly make the right decisions with detailed analyses.
Installation, training, adaptation processes, and post-installation support services were carried out by our Antalya region dealer, Spectra Yazılım.
Many important improvements were made in Elektra V4. The most important of these is that our hotels’ connections to GDS (Global Distribution System, Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan, Sabre) and IDS (Internet Distribution System, Expedia, Booking, HRS, etc.) are now ready. With this connection, the hotel can send all room availability and price information simultaneously to all internet sales points it has agreements with, and incoming reservations are automatically registered in the Elektra front desk program at the same time.
Another application that facilitates the hotel’s work with agencies was achieved through reservation integration. Previously, reservations sent by fax or email from the agency automatically create a reservation card in the Elektra front desk. This prevents incomplete or incorrect reservation entries and saves significant labor and time.
Thanks to the integration with Bavel, the invoicing system has also been similarly automated.
We have many prestigious hotel references in Istanbul. Some of these are Klassis Golf & Country Club, Klassis Resort Hotel, Elite Küçük Yalı, Elite Dragos Hotel, Eser Diamond Hotel, Ağaoğlu My Village Residence, İpek Palas Hotel, İstanbul Vilayetevi, Adamar Hotel, Ascot Hotel, and Europark Hotel.
