Talya Established a System at Gorrion Hotel to Manage All Departments from a Single Program – Tourism Investment Magazine
Providing technological solutions to hotels, Talya Bilişim has taken part in 3,000 hotel projects to date. It provided Gorrion Hotel Istanbul with the Elektra Hotel Management System V4 Version, through which all departments can be managed from a single program.
Talya Bilişim has been offering technological solutions to the tourism sector for over 20 years under the Elektra brand. The Elektra Hotel Management System consists of 41 different modules, covering all processes within the hotel, starting from guest check-in at the front office. Since our goal is to meet all software-related needs of hotels, we constantly develop the number and content of our modules. In addition to standardized modules such as front office, accounting, stock, and cost management, we offer applications like iSafe, which fulfills the requirements of Law No. 5651; Timeshare Management, particularly used in thermal facilities; Online Reservation and Sales Channel Management for online promotion and direct booking via the hotel’s website; and Mobile Management, which allows facility control via smartphones. These not only meet our clients’ needs but also help them offer the latest technological advancements to their guests. Alongside the software, we also provide consultancy services to hotels. This is actually the most important part of the job, as each hotel operates differently depending on its concept. Therefore, the software must be flexible enough to meet these variations. With Elektra, our hotels can easily keep all administrative, financial, and operational processes under control. We have completed over 3,000 tourism projects to date.
We provided all the details Gorrion would need through Elektra
After meeting the necessary requirements, Gorrion Hotel Istanbul contacted us for a comprehensive hotel software where all departments are managed from a single program and the entire system is monitored electronically. Upon the recommendation of Adnan Özsoy, the General Manager of Gorrion Hotel Istanbul, they decided on the Elektra Program. Gorrion Hotel is a large and comprehensive facility. Our primary goal was to ensure that all departments in this facility use cutting-edge technological infrastructure and minimize time loss. Another goal was to control and integrate all departments operating separately from a single point. For this purpose, the Elektra Hotel Management System V4 Version’s Front Office module was installed as the main program. An additional 20 modules were integrated to work with the Front Office Program. In the accounting department, ETS V4, Stock and Cost Analysis, Purchasing, Fixed Assets modules, and E-Invoice Integration are used. The Human Resources Management module calculates employee records, payrolls, official declarations, and pay slips, while the Personnel Attendance Control System (PDKS) tracks entry and exit. The hotel conducts inventory using barcode handheld devices with the Elektra Fixed Asset Module. It can also print barcodes based on product characteristics and locations and track warranty/service agreements. In the restaurant department, the Elektra POS Module is used and integrated with the front office and accounting modules.
The Elektra Opex Operations Management module enables easy tracking of technical service failure reports, CRM information, and workflows. With the Elektra Sales, Marketing, and Banquet Management module, the hotel tracks group, individual, and event organizations and archives related contracts and documents in the program.
Gorrion Fitness and Spa Center is managed using Elektra’s Spa Club Membership System. Besides the main modules, Gorrion Hotel also uses the iSafe Internet Security System, which complies with Law No. 5651. This allows the hotel to log all users connecting to its internet network and generate historical reports. With the Identity Reader Program (KimlikOkur), prepared in accordance with the Ministry of Culture’s circular, guest ID cards, driver’s licenses, and passports can be scanned and transferred to the Elektra guest profile in as little as 3 seconds. This shortens the check-in process, increases customer satisfaction, and saves on paper and toner costs.
